Aurelie Cornaz

Aurélie Cornaz is a Swiss graphic designer and freelance artist who studied at the École Romande d’Arts et Communication (ERACOM) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Alongside her design practice, she has also worked as a climbing instructor, teaching both adults and, most passionately, children. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating an environment where safety, curiosity, and joy foster meaningful learning experiences.

These diverse experiences continue to shape her creative journey, inspiring her to combine design, education, and cross-cultural exchange. Guided by empathy and imagination, Aurélie’s work reflects a commitment to connection—visual, human, and beyond.

"Tracing Light: The Art of Connection in Natural Forms"

Aurélie Cornaz is an artist whose practice draws inspiration from the living forms and silent stories embedded in stones and natural substances. Her work investigates the delicate interplay between light and nature—how light meets even the smallest life forms and transforms them, revealing moments of connection, movement, and change.

In her debut exhibition, Aurélie invites viewers into a world where natural elements respond to the shifting touch of light. Her thoughtful compositions reveal how forms merge, dissolve, and resonate—sometimes in harmony, sometimes in contrast. These interactions mirror the human experience: our daily actions, emotions, and fleeting thoughts, all subtly shaped by unseen forces. Like light, we soften, blend, intensify, or disperse—constantly in motion, endlessly becoming.

Beauty is subjective, shaped by individual perspective.
Erasure often suggests a desire to conceal, to hide.
But I don’t aim to conceal; I pursue the truth found in spontaneity.

Creative Protocol:

  1. Begin with a print. Introduce a tangent—engage it.

  2. Embrace superposition. Allow for surprise.

  3. Never erase. Transform instead.
